i think the radiation it remits it very slow, but better be safe than sorry. if you can, just do not do it, but if you do not have any choice, then we have to live with it.

Hi, yes I do keep my cellphone near my bed...It has been a practice for me. I love it that much so I cannot miss it even for a single moment [:p] But the fact that you discussed is really true. When we receive calls, the signal that passes by is very harmful to humans. Its advisable to keep them away when not in use. As always "PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE"

I've heard about that radiation stuff too. Still I put it near my bed on the sidetable too. I used to put it on the floor, a little bit away from my bed, but I found it difficult to check the clock during nighttime, because it was hard to find the phone in the darkness.

Like you and many other people, I also put my cellphone beside me when I am sleeping simply because of its important purpose. I use it to check the time when I wake up. I also use it as a light in the middle of the night. I frequently urinate so I really need to wake up in a dark room. And with that, cellphone is the most accessible way to use in replacement for flashlight. This is also important for me to put it in an area where I can easily reach so that I can answer some emergency calls at the middle of the night. I know that this isn't good for our health so sometimes, I try to keep it a little far away from me especially when I am sleeping.

Yes, i put my phone near on my bed. Coz i am using it as an alarm clock so that i can wake up early.Yeah, cellphones are emitting radiation but as far as i know there is too minimal radiation we take from it.And it doesnt cause too much injury to yourself but like a saying said "prevention is better than cure!".

I have to keep my cell phone on my bed side table as I use it as an alarm. Also I wanted to mention that the emission varies from brand to brand. I have Motorola which has one of the lowest emissions.

There are times when I do sleep with my cell phone on my bedside table. This is only because there have been a number of members in my family that have become ill recently and it is a way for them to contact me if they don't know my home number. There are a lot of things that can cause health problems that are all around us. Think of the electrical wires that hang all over old neighborhoods. It is said that these wires are actually part of the cause of what are known as cancer clusters. This is where more than 3 children or adults are struck with cancer in a neighborhood. Some states now require that the electrical lines are run under ground to homes. Older neighborhoods are actually going through changes where this is done. It is believed that by doing so, the risks are lowered.

yes and no. i believe that cellphones emit radiation so i make sure that it's not near my body especially my head when i put it on my bed. i use the alarm feature so to make sure that i can wake up, i put it somewhere that i still have to get up and walk to stop it from ringing so others wont be bothered.

HI! Yes, I put it near my bed, when I sleep because it is easier to answer if someone calls me. I also use it as an alarm clock, when I must get up early! But I don't receive any messages or calls late in the night, maybe sometimes, but not so often! My parents call me every day, but they do it a little bit earlier. I have one friend, who loves to call me late in the night, but don't do it very often!

Yes cellphones do emit radiations, but not that much as it may result to injury or harm ourselves, cellphones comply with certain FCC standards, so as computers and laptops and other electronic device, well as precautions, you may still be right, we should place it under our pillows,, I always use the speaker when calling or when somebody calls. although we can not limit its use, its kind of worrying to know that they emit radiations, and as far as i know radiation are harmful,, but then again, i never heard of any news of somebody getting sick of radiations due to excessive use of cellphones, Gud Pm, You May wanna check out the Grand Ball in the Philippine section of my lot.

I actually do not have a cell phone at the moment so to answer your question my phone is not anywhere near my bed, it is actually in the living room.

No, I am not so addicted to my phone. I just leave it in my bag. Sometimes all you get is nonsense, just a stupid greeting in the middle of the night. It is not worth it. Messages can wait til morning to be deleted.

Like you, I put my cellphone near my bed, not because I am expecting some important calls in the middle of the night. My cellphone doubles as an alarm clock, which I can't do without. I usually switch off my phone just before bedtime. That means there will be no receiving or transmitting of any kinds of radio waves or radiation. My cellphone was built in such a way that the alarm will still be activated even if the phone is switched off.

Hi, As for me, my cellphone will usually be switched off - it will be left to charge on my writing table next to my keys and items to bring to work the next day. Except when I am traveling, it will be on the bedside table. As for radiation, it is not a very firm issue and as of now I'd just leave that till a later time to make it a concern. I think you just have to see where your electrical outlets are when you need to charge your cellphone. Have a nice day.
