The first and second movies were really good but Goldmember seemed really corny. I didn't like it when they opened up with a musical number because it just didn't really fit the movie. Plus, they had like 10 superstar actors which included Gweneth Paltrow and Tom Cruise which to me meant that the Austin Powers movies had sold out. They just weren't originally anymore. I also don't like that Mike Myers plays most of the major characters. That annoys me the most. He played Dr. Evil, Austin Powers, Fat B******* and Goldmember. In my opinion, it kind of got old. It was kind of like Norbit, but not as funny. Do you think that after awhile the Austin Powers movies got corny?

Austin Powers and the rest of Mike Myers' characters are all part of his act. I guess if you're going to see a Mike Myers film expect corny jokes and a lot of make up as well as improve. I enjoy corny movies but not all the time. You're right, it's not everyday that you will watch or repeat corniness, it's just a great once in awhile thing that lets us enjoy the variety of comedy. :) Take cares!

Actually I liked the third one almost as much as the first two. I don't think they sold out by having big stars. The joke of it was that those stars were playing him in a movie of his life because he's an awesome spy. I think they jumped on board because the movies were funny. I didn't mind that he played a lot of the characters either. It showed he had range as an actor and geez tyler perry is doing that now in his movies. I'm a huge Mike Meyers fan though, so maybe that is why I liked them so much.
