Hi,this is a great job .teaching children is really tough.when they have the interest in studies then we can do something to make them learn. But when they are young they dont know anything.Want to play.So see how ur child behaves and reacts when he tries to do something.see how he is learning. Then you can teach him better.children dont learn by how we teach , they learn how they want to do by themselves.they are more intelligent than us.

I turned learning into a game for my children. They are tired after school - just like we are after a long day of work - so having fun is a nice break. With math, we added and subtracted things like jelly beans or M&Ms. When they got the answer right, they got to eat the answer. With spelling/language, we would run (literally) around the house, spelling everything that I pointed at. For example; I would run to the sofa and they would spell 'sofa' and so on. We would even run outside to point and spell. I would keep track of how many words they spelled correctly and then I would give them a penny to put in their' penny jar for each correct word. The money adds up and soon they can go buy a treat at the store. With their' weekly spelling lists we would compete to see who could make up the funniest rhyme using the most spelling words. When the lesson is fun, they remember it.
