Have You Ever Balanced Coins On Your Cat's Head?

Some people may think it is cruel to balance things on a cat's head but (in my opinion) dressing a cat up in stupid hats is cruel so, yes, I have balanced UK pound coins on a cat's head. My record is 5 before they topple off. The cat I used to do this to was Thebes as she was so laid-back and slept a lot. She never miaowed or anything like that as the coins were not heavy and they were on her head for only a few seconds...and she did live until she was 19 So tell me, have you ever balanced coins (or anything else) on your cat's head?

Well, Thebes did play with her sister as well. She wasn't asleep all the time lol. Cats are wonderful animals, every one of them is different my friend...and it seems you have quite a lot of them! Good for you!

no, but most of my cats would look at me so offended I probably would have to carry them around for an hour after trying it... and some of them are too big for that!

Hehe lol. I wouldn't dare try the coin-balancing trick on my present cat, Flojo. She's a bit more temperamental than Thebes!

No...too funny!! And I agree dressing up one's animals can be silly. I don't think either of my cats would stand for it. But I do balance treats on our dog's nose and make her wait a second til I tell her okay and she flings it up and catches it in her mouth on the way down. My cats might not be safe now..tho I don't know what US coin would be similar to a pound coin...thanks for the chuckle!

I didn't use coins per see, but I have balanced scrunchies and other things of that nature on Precious's head. It stayed a few seconds before he tried to get off and succedded in doing so. Precious can be so cute sometimes.

He's about ten years old, going on eleven. I can't believe he's that old, but I've got some more years with him yet and he's healthy except for a couple of problems. But it doesn't bother him in the slightest. He can still walk, jump, and run just like other cats.

my cat would not like it very much if I tried to balance something on his head.

I think that is so cruel, i wouldn't dream of doing that to my cat!

Like I said, Thebes lived until she was 19...and I never balanced coins on her head every day...more like once a year, maybe? She was fine with it, honestly.
