a VINEGAR MASSAGE for fever?

have you tried doing a message to the child/person who has a high fever?
my daughter recently got sick. her fever reaches 39.+ on thermometer, i did a cold compress every time her fever goes up. but someone, and old lady advice me to do vinegar massage aside from taking meds and a lot of water and fruit juices to drink. she did it actually to my daughter and it WORKS really! her fever in a while was gone. works like magic on my daughter.
true to the saying that sometimes medicines can be find in our kitchen counters c:

Hi. When we were young, my mother used to do that whenever we have flu or fever. And I agree that such is really effective.
Another myLotter also posted once here that a foot soak in lukewarm water with vinegar also helps in treating flu or fever. I tried the same since I could not take any medications with aspirin contents because it creates allergic reactions to my body. I do this whenever I have flu/fever because it's easier to do/prepare than massage.
