Can any one tell me importance of 64-bit XP?

This is XP - All of us are aware to this windows XP symbol. If I am not wrong I just indicates the excellence of the Microsoft's OS.

Well right now I am using a 32-bit windows XP sp3. My laptop supports 64-bit XP as well. Do have drivers for that too. Then what extra feature will 64-bit XP would contain? Because I am just afraid of installing it!

the 64 bit editions of xp are a lot faster than the 32 bit. also the 64 bit can control the memory more efficiently. win xp 64 bit also allows you to run 64 bit applications on your pc

All features are the same. The only difference between the 32 and 64 bit windows is that 64 bit can handle memory more efficiently. If you have 4gb of ram or more, you should install the 64 bit one.
