Strangers greetings

When I am walking I am more likely to encounter the lovely folks in my town as my house is located away from all the excitement. I have got to say that it makes my entire day to have a complete stranger stop, smile and say good morning. Thats the good stuff right there. I think it is part of the reason I keep walking daily. Is there anything that you look forward to and keeps you walking daily?

It is lovely that you live and walk in a friendly neighborhood. It makes a difference to me if strangers say 'good morning' or 'hi' when I walk past. I walk my two dogs and know that other dog owners can be a friendly bunch of people. One of the most friendly countries that I have been to is Guatemala and the people there said 'hola' which I think was welcoming. The superb views and seeing my dogs have an enjoyable time keeps me happy to walk. The settings I like for walking are in the countryside and by the coastline. I went for a stroll along the beach today. I could see the waves dancing out at sea. It was low tide to the sea was way out. It was cold and windy. A stranger helped me get my children's buggy up a steep stretch of sand. I liked her kindness.
