How Can I download a You Tube video using Google Chrome / myLot

Hi, Any one know the way to download a you tube video using google chrome browser? In firefox there is a plug in called video download helper. For google chrome, is there any plug in option available?

I have a gmail account and I have also registered with youtube and this is perhaps the reason I have no problems uploading and downloading videos from youtube. They keep telling me that I should switch from Internet Explorer to Chrome as they will soon not have a tie up with IE.

Well, you could just try www.keepvid.com. Its a nice little site where you simply paste the address to the video and they give you the link to the real video which you can than download. You even can chose between different quality videos.. Its really useful.
