Lotting on Ipod Touch?

Well I want to get my hands on an Ipod Touch. I don't have any budget on it whatsoever but someone had promised to buy me one on my birthday. I like music and stuff and I like the portability and feature of an Ipod Touch. I would love to use it to browse and respond here in mylot. I was wondering if the Ipod Touch's browser has the capability to do so or anyone who had first hand experience lotting on it? I tried lotting on my phone once with it's pre-installed or built in browser. Well I can surely read discussions but I can't respond. I find out that the browser needs to have java support and only the Opera mini browser has this. I just read that apple doesn't support java and there is no Opera mini available for an Ipod Touch. So I'm afraid I can only use it for reading discussions and still I cannot respond in the discussions using it... I would like to abuse the wifi feature for mylot only(Well if it can browse into trekpay and click that would be a lot better *Wishful Thinking*) Please share your experiences lotting using an Ipod Touch...Thank you!

I have had an iPod touch for about a year now and it is the best thing for me. The iPod touch does support java and has the safari Internet browser. I am on mylot right now and posting this comment. My experience using the iPod touch has been great. If you want free games or third party applications you can jailbreak it. I'm very happy with my iPod touch.

Ahh.. so using Safari browser, it can be done. Awesome..thanks for telling.. now I have another knowledge as well.

Too bad it can't be configured, bro. If you are using other brands of phones with Wifi, maybe it will work if you download Opera mini. I heard so much wonderful news about Opera too. And if I'm right, you can definitely respond to discussions on your phone with the browser embedded.

Yes I read an article that apple rejected the supposedly Opera mini App for Ipod Touch. They say safari can do it so I will stick to that for now and actually if I get my hands on that gadget then I will add some feedback in here
