Where do you get the most traffic for your blog or site?

We need traffic, we need to promote our affiliate urls to get referrals, sales or commission. Just curious, at your own experience in advertising, which site gave you the most traffic & result? or How do you advertise your site?

I never really paying attention about my blog's traffic because i didn't make any monetizing method on my blog. I also haven't put a widget which can telling about our visitors' location. But i think mostly of my blog's visitors are come from local area only since mostly my blog's posting use my local language. I've plan to start an international blog soon.
