Is it true that men, by nature, are polygamous?

Some says that men by nature are polygamous that's why they tend to look for another woman despite of having a wife already? Is this an excuse for them to commit adultery?

I don't understand why men can have a lot of wives while women can only have one husband. Anyway, not all men are polygamous. But I know of some who are. And, in this time and age, it's not a big surprise anymore. People and events change. We should just go with the flow, as they say... Best regards to you, Rayne...

..indeed yes,.. as if, for women, it's like a very grave offense but if its the men who commits it, its fine.. I mean I don't have any intention of doing it but I just wonder why most of the time, when it comes to affair issues, women are looked down.. men can do this or that but women cannot.. Its unfair sometimes.. women are usually judged but men are given considerations..

hello advo, I think you were referring to other cultures that only legalize polygamous marriage. there is a tradition i believe in tibet where the siblings can have actually one wife or husband just to have strong family ties. but in this modern era i believe, it's being considered now as illegal and complete taboo to the society. yes, pure, sincere and honest but with only one partner not two or three.

As far as I know, few men want only to have love affairs with only his wife: They often try to find another woman to love.
