Always wanted to live in a big happy family?

Looking back, I now feel that I should have had a bigger family when I were much younger during my childhood - by bigger family I mean that I should have had more siblings (I was the only child to my parents, I could have had all my grand-parents( my paternal grand-mother was all that was part of my family who also died before I reached age 10); the other grand-parents died long before I was born. We were just 3 in the family, my parents and I, and my father mostly out of town on work; or we could have had a big joint family with aunts, uncles, cousins etc. Those days we had a lot of joint families in my neighbourhood, all staying together and having a great time; but we were just 3 of us - most of my relatives were not in this city then, but at our native place. I always felt and still feel that having a huge family staying together is a great thing which also teaches you a lot in life. Now again we are 3, with my wife and my younger daughter, while my elder daughter is married and settled overseas with her family. I think most of you may have similar opinions?
