I need some information on cockatills.

Does anyone know anything about the care of cockatills? (I hope I am spelling it right) When I went to visit my son, he had one. I absolutely fell in love with this silly bird! Now I want one, but I am interested in finding out more information about them. They seem to make GREAT pets and are easy to care for. I did find out that the life span is 30-35 years! This one actually had a personality and was sooo lovable! I appreciate any info!
