I'm allergic but I have cats!And You?

Yep, I am allergic to my cats. But I am also allergic to many other things, and since I have to take allergy medication everyday anyway, I might as well have cats because I love them so much. I have three!

Hi ya! Welcome to mylot! Like you I have allergies to my 2 girl kitties but I just take some allergy meds as needed. I wouldn't give them up for the world! I'm not allergic to our dog so that's at least a plus. I was raised with cats but didn't really know I had allergies till I got older so not sure what's up with that. To me, our pets help make our house a home!! Be Well!

I am allergic to cats, and I have them. I did get treatment for my allergies and I have a little cat rescue. Little by meaning a LOT of cats but a few placements.

I use to have an allergy when I was a kid...but that didn't stop me from loving cats. And now, for some reason, the allergy is gone...I guess it got use from too much exposure on cats. lol.

I've never had that problem. THough I have to consider myself lucky seeing as there were constantly animals running around. Though my partner used to have them, and his salution, not be around them. Though he's recovered and has learned to deal. and, now we've got two cats of our own.
