This season?

I´m in the middle of summer. I spent most of the Spring redoing the mess that my puppy had made. Lola is a German Shepherd and she destroyed all my garden until I made a fence so we could both have a part of it. My veggie garden was too late for that reason and so far I have only had cucumbers and green beans. Tomatoes are still green but if the are not ripe at the end of the season, I´ll make a chutney, so I don´t mind. Next year I´ll plant zuchinni. I planted it this year but Lola decided it was a good place to make a tunnel. Now she knows she can´t do that in MY part of the house. I like very much to plant green beans (the bush type) and dwarf marigolds in front of them. They look beautiful together and marigols feep away some the the garden pests. Luck!
