I don't believe in Astral Travel though this was something we discussed before in one of my Psychology subjects in College. Astral Travel is an "out of body experience" where your soul leaves your body to go somewhere else. I don't believe in it but I don't know what you will call what I have experienced about 8 years ago. I was still in college when it happened to me. I was only 18 years old then. I ws licing in a dormitory and I have a roommate. Onde day, after class I feel so exhausted and drained because it was our Finals week. Without changing my clothes and even removing my shoes I lied down not in my bed but in my roommates bed. That was the first time I lied down on her bed. I was just staring at the ceiling and my mind was totally blank. All of a sudden I felt like I was floating and then I saw my self above staring at my body below in the bed. I screamed but I cannot. I panicked and tried to move my body but I cannot. Then, as I was struggling I was able to move one of my fingers and then all of a sudden I felt myself falling down, down, down, down and down back to my body. There's a blinding light everywhere and I was falling I feel so cold. I can feel the rush of the wind in my cheeks and in my hair. Then, I stood up immediately very scared. I went to our Sorority House and hang out there with my sisses and brods. I waited for my roommates class to end before I went back to our dorm. The incident scared the hell out of me that I have decided to finally move out. I rented an apartment of my own with one my closest sis in the Sorority. That was such a weird experience. Until now I am not sure if what I experienced is what they call "Astral Travel" or just simply a bad dream.

Hi Ladyslpper, I don't really know what to call it, but I'd say it was a bad dream, maybe a nightmare. I've been in a similar situation where I tried to run, but my feet wouldn't move. It was super weird and really scary.

It is really scary. The scariest dream I ever had happened when I slept in one of my friend's house. I was alone in her room. I fell asleep then after awhile I thought I saw a bright silhouette of a lady. I tried to see her face but the light was blinding me. She came near me and then starngled me with her hands. I can't breathe and I thought I was about to die. Good thing I was able to move my hands.

its called astral projection. I used to be able to do this almost at will. I would checkout places I wanted to visit, etc.you have to know what your doing, cause if you don't prepare yourself properly, the results could be disastrous.

Really? You can? So it means you've already tried it a lot of times? After what happened to me I researched something about Astral Projection. However, I did not get interested that much because I tried to do it at will but I failed. I never tried doing it again.
