what is life?

what is life? does this cound like a strange question to you ?
of course we all know what is meant by the world life but how would you defince it?
do all living thing move? do they all eat and breathe? even though we all seem to know what is meant by saying something is "alive" it's not very easy to desccribe what life is . it's almost as hard as describing where life.

life is all thos beautifulthings u see out there, all of gods creation ..
all even the moving or the non moving, eats n sleeps, they to breath
all that is not alive are the "things", which r human made ..
