How do you put smileys on your discussion?

i've been visiting discussions and i found a lot of responses that has smileys. i'm curious how they do it. do you put any on yours? how?

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot hanna. are you talking about this guys over here? . well you need to reach 200 the number inside the parenthesis (49) that has to be 200 before you can use this cute and funny guys. but for the mean time just enjoy surfing and posting, learning and earning. good luck

I think one can use those smileys even before they have 200. They will just have to know the codes. That is all.

Well from the way I look at it, you need to make more post before you will be able to put in your post. To be exact, at least 200 posts. But surely you will be able to reach that later on. And I am sure that you will find different to choose from. Best of luck and I hope to see your post with those smileys later on.

When you are response or writing discussion, on the left side of your screen below your avatar there is "myLot code" tab. But you can on;y use this if reach a certain number of posts/responses. I think about a hundred or two.

I think only those who have a post of more than 500 could avail of this feature. And to apply the emoticons they use some sort of code like this :-( and after they submit the post it automatically transforms to smileys. Too bad I'm still way too low in number of posts.

First of all Cowboy, the number of post needs to be at least 200 and not 500. Secondly, the codes of emoticons are not exacttly like ':-(' but are like ""(without the spaces)
