One child, now adult, who strikes his parents, for drink!!

I read, or see the news every day, as children arrived adults who are parents and forget who the child is.
Children who beat their parents, because parents do not want to give them money.
Disappeared respect, and parents are guilty as spoiled children when they were small.
Where is the fault? Who is guilty?

dear ice,
it is very sad to see parents being hurt by their adult children or abused emotionally. where does all these come from? were the parents abusive of the children while they were still young? how is the environment where the children grew? or were these children really spoiled?
there are too many reasons for children to grow like that. but i hope the parents start teaching them young about the values of politeness and respect that their children will put to heart.

Life has become very hard and costly nowadays. Parents, ie both husband and wife are forced to go to work since it is difficult to live only from one persons earning. "Therefore the children are left to themselves and develop bad habits unknown to their parents. when these kids grow up they do not have any affection for their parents and treat them with disrespect even going as far as abusing them and even striking them.Many parents also spoil their children and pamper them when they are young so when they grow up the parents have no control over them and thus get abused by their chldren.I too have read of many cases in the newspapers of children misbehaving and even killing their parent because he or she did not give them money or what they wanted.It is a very unfortunate state of affairs.During my days we were taught to respect our parents, teachers and elders however nowadays children are completely different and more violent.
