Helping your fellow man

In the aftermath of the earthquakes in Haiti, it has me thinking about humanity and compassion. Do you go out of your way to help your fellow man? How often do you do this? I'm going to say that not enough of us are putting out a big enough effort here everyday (including myself), and that a change like that could change our way of life, and it can all start with you.

Hello I agree with you. It is just to easy to sit back and figure that the other guy will help out. I have given money to the Red Cross for earthquake relief. My church's mission is, well..mission work. I do a lot with them, including donating food to our food banks, helping with serving at our soup kitchen and neighborhood clean up work. People from our church went to Texas last summer to help with rebuilding after the huricaines, and the kids collect money for mission work..they recently collected $500 for building a church in Haiti..this was before the quake, and luckily the partly built church was not harmed in the quake.
