Polydactyl Cat...Anyone have one???

Hide and Seek anyone??? - I thought this was so cute. She looks like she is just so exasperated that she doesn't want to be bothered with the world.

This is Sassy...she is a polydactyl cat. She has extra (poly meaning many) digits on her front feet. Her paws are so big...she's just precious. Sassy also has a bob tail. I wish she were friendlier with people, though. When folks come to visit she runs and hides. If you try to force your attention on her she becomes agitated very easily. I think that's kind of the norm for cats though. By the way, Sassy is short for Sasquatch (big foot).

My aunt has one like that. We called him Frog. He had I think it was 13 digits on one foot and close to that many on all the others. Was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. Now they have offspring from him that is the same way.

Yes, Sassy's mom had the same big feet that she has and I think she had several litters before Sassy and most were the same way. We had Sassy spayed so she couldn't have any kittens, but I'm sure they would have exhibited this same characteristic. Thanks for responding!

OMG, too cute! I've never heard of it before and when I first read "polydactyl" I thought of tyrodactyl... I know I absolutely goofed on the spelling of that, I'm referring to the dinosaur times? LOL! Anyhow, she's a cutie! And a terrific name!

I know that sounds like a crazy name, doesn't it? She is being a meany today and last night scratched the dogs nose and made it bleed. She also left a claw shed in his muzzle.
