Complaints about electric bill and gas bill

I guess most people have complaints about the utility bills from last month, except water. My co - workers complain about his gas bill gone up to $300, for the little heat he turn up. Another one got his for a little more than $200. My girlfriend just pay her electric bill yesterday for over $200, and she complained about how expensive it was. The cashier explain to her, because of the cold during winter time, most people just pay a little bit more. It is pretty understandable. Me too, my parents pay a higher price for the utility bills last month. It is unavoidable during the hot summer time and cold winter time. We have to consume more utility energy.
