Have you finsihed any storries of your own yet?

I'm a member of goodreads and I've finished writing a few stories there and I still have a few unfinished ones.
I have a fanfic story entitled Renesmee there, Playing Pretend Book 1 and few other stories that aren't finished yet like Playing Pretend Book 2 and True Soulmate. There's also a compilation of my one shots (short stories), poems, a
journal and others of my literary works.
I had all the time to write when I spent vacation in Saudi Arabia with my dad but now that I'm back home int he Philippines, I don't write write all the time. There are a lot of activities to do here like go out with friends/family, read, watch movies or TV, play with my siblings etc.
Have you tried writing and finishing stories of your own with reviews of other people and all?

I have finished "a lot" of short stories, but I'm only happy with 3 of them. lol. I'm happy with about 1/2 the short stories I've completed. Of course, I'm someone who believes that there is ALWAYS editing to be done. Heck, I read published books by GREAT famous authors and sometimes find myself editing a little here and there (I don't do this a lot. I enjoy reading and if I did that ALL the time I wouldn't have any fun reading).

I agree. You write so that there'd be something to be read. And you read so that you'd be able to enjoy what's written. Thinking of thing you'd wanna modify while reading would sure go against such purpose and you'd never have fun.

Yeah, I'm pretty good at ignoring the little mistakes in books. But sometimes there are things I see and I'm just like...oh that's not right! lol

Well... perhaps I've encountered such situation before while reading. But I couldn't really remember it. Haha, might not really be a big deal for me though. ^_^

errmmm...all my fics are fanfictions. and yeah though i already finish more than 10 stories i still have more than 5 fics who are still either on going, hiatus, or yeah totally abandoned.
i posted most of them in Winglin and Soompi...but last November I decided to post my stories in Triond for me to earn.

You are an excellent person I never seen in my place. I like writing, but most of the time, I could not organize the words very soon. some story are better owing to my mind is focus at the time, so I can write it well. I firmly believe that something is God gives us, people could not create everything.

No! I never finished stories I wrote. I start to write something and let it saved in the Word, and when I find it lost in my computer, I reread and write once more, but is all incomplete.

Wow I sure love writing. ^_^ Actually, I have started to write a fictional story featuring our own superstitious beliefs here in the country (in the Philippines, thatis) but I couldn't finish it because of a whooping hectic sched of mine. Jeesh! ^_^
