Apple has put an end to months of rumor and speculation with the introduction of the iPad, it's new tablet computer. The device is able to use many of the third party applications found on the App store, plus it runs specialized versions of Apple programs, like iWork. It funcions as a media player, a web browser, a photo viewer and an e-book reader, thanks to a new iBook online store.
Did anyone get their hands on this thingie and if so, what are your comments?

I heard about iPad yesterday and i think this product is just like a bigger iPod Touch. However, this product seems will bring good wind to the tablet computer competition. And it seems iPod Touch will get cheaper than before since iPad launched. But this product has many limited ability since it doesn't support multitasking and it doesn't has optical drive. I think Apple will release the update for this product later with more additional peripherals. Just like iPhone which updating gradually until today. It's getting even perfect than before. In my honest opinion Apple just needs to stop. They are way behind. Palm Piliot, and tablet PC have been out for years, and after the Iphone craze" Do they honestly think this would be a best seller? Now it sounds like they are coppying again. I hate those type of people.
