if one wants to build wealth he should never use credit card . ur views are appreciated

I think as long as you have the money to pay it off, it's not so bad. It helps build credit. As long as you pay it off when it comes, I don't see how that is a bad thing.

If you have money to repay why use card .
credit card is good only for people who know how to use it

yup i agree with that...as much as possible i will stay away from credit/applying for credit card...if have this card, the bank will collect money from you, until the time come that you don't know you are in big debt...that's what the bank want from you, to get all your money,hahaha... maybe your not aware of it because you have the luxury of buying what you want...so who still wants a credit card????

the reason that you use the card if you have the money to pay it off, is because credit cards can work for you. Get a credit card with rewards, my suggestion is the Discover card, as it gives you the best money back, and pay it off, and collect the money from the cash back, its not much but its enough to go have a good time some night. I personally only use it for food and gas, and I get enough for a night at the bars, about every 2 months. If you use it for more things you will have more rewards, just make sure you can pay it off :)

I think it's good to have a credit card if you'd like to pay for installments like Digi cam and other appliance or devices. But you just have to be disciplined enough not to put yourself into trouble because of that. I would like to have my own credit card but I am just not eligible to apply for one I guess. LOL

of course the bank will say you're not eligible because the bamk can see that you don't have enough money to pay with them monthly, in short, the bank can't make money from you...the bank will always say that its a convenient way to shopping cause you don't bring big cash on hand which will be the mind set now of the card holders...

I use my Credit Card and have never had any problems. I never have lots of cash with me (that means also the nothing will be stolen from my bag). I use the Credit Card as a sort of helper for my expenses. I pay everything each monh so I am not in debt. I have it clear that I can only buy what I can pay. Besides that, my credit card is asociated with a travel agency so I get better fares if I pay with the Credit Card.
I don´t pretend to build wealth, but I don´r know what does that have to be with having or not having a CC.

Not true! Wealthy people have credit cards. The trick there is to use the card only if you have the means to pay for it. Credit card only allows you delay payment and you can capitalize on that if you are wise enough. Use it a day or 2 after the cut-off date so that you will be billed after one and a half month. Timing and budget is the key to fully utilize your credit card. With proper usage, you can have lots of freebies and discounts.
