Layaway Vacations

I have a travel agency that is asociated with my Bank. I can do that there, pay with my Visa card but they won´t charge more if I pay in 12 payments. There are other places that have this in 24 payments. I had to do it on 2008 because I had had my yearly vacation and some friends invited me for a 3 week sailing trip at the Caribbean if I would pay my airfare. I could NOT say no! If I have all that in Chile, South America, I´m sure they´ll have something even better at the US (not better friends though)

...Hi Ifuentes4205, Welcome to the ranch, it's a great place to hang out, enjoy. I am sorry that I don't know of any place like that. But if you would call two or three local Travel Agencies and tell them what you are looking for, they may accomodate you. The alternative solution might be to make a deposit on the package you want at the travel agency, and each month, buy a money order, make it out to yourself, when you have the total amount needed, sign them over to the particular travel agency. That would be the same as the agency holding your money. Hope this helps. Take care.

Hi, is there such a thing like that? I haven't heard about layaway vacation packages. Then if there is, I might check it out. I'll look again in your discussion if something has come up. Cheers!
