Heeled shoes are the foot of a beautiful woman, graceful, elegant ... but...They are good for health? You like women who wear high heels? but you know how hard it is to walk on heels? Worth the effort to wear heels just to be in keeping with fashion? Sir, you let your wife wear heels just because you like what you see, or try to explain that not good? Lady, you wear heels, just to be more attractive, even if you want take off your shoes in the street because your legs hurt a lot?

I prefer to use flat shoes because I am not use to wear high heels. If I wear high heels, I am very conscious with the way I walk or the way I stand. While wearing flats makes me feel very comfortable and gives me cinfidence to walk.

I know high heels will make women look sexy and elegant. However, it is just a suffering for me to wear high heels. I prefer to wear comfortable shoes. I love China

for me, nothing feels more comfortable than a pair of rubber shoes. occasionally, during days with special occasion, or working that requires a business casual outfit, i also wear high heeled boots, but i can't remember when was the last time i had worn a high heeled shoes:). lucky for me, my work doesn't require me to wear casual or business dress.

...Hi icesmile, I am sure a man designed high heel shoes, because he would not have to wear them. When women go to their doctors for a physical, they are never examined to see if their back is out of alignment. When we wear high heeled shoes, your pelvic bone is thrust forward and you are walking in an awkward stance. Your spine is affected and over the long run, I think your back is going to bother you as you get older and you will wonder why. A moderate heel is probably better, flats are probably the best, but peoole love the way heels look and so they keep wearing them, to the detriment of their bodies, not realizing the long term effect. Great discussion question. Take care.

Personally, the only times that I wear heel shoes is when I have to attend formal functions or attend interview. One thing, I am tall and plump. So when on heels, I will feel the pressure on my foot. Thus, if possible, I will prefer slippers and no heels shoes that are comfy, of my foot size and of course, won't make me ended up with a bruise toe. I envy the ladies wearing heels and I have a few friends who wore heel shoes to look right. So during ladies' chit chat time when I asked them about how good they were in those shoes, they describe to me as the "necessary sacrifice for the looks".

Yeah, high heels make our legs sexier and bring up our confidence a little as well. But it really is a pain for me to wear it one whole day, let alone always. I prefer comfortable wedges, flats and sandals. I only wear high heels on parties and formals.

I have problems with walking, and my feet themselves are an odd shape, so I wear nothing but comfortable shoes. It's not unusual for me to go out in a formal dress, and hiking boots. LOL I need to wear something comfortable for walking, not something that's uncomfortable but stylish.

Hey icesmile! I have stopped wearing high heel shoes years ago! But, it is too late because I have already ruined my feet, my legs, my ankles, my knees and all for the sake of looking good! I never felt comfortable in high heels! It just isn't natural to wear them and it does cause so many problems in the years to follow! I am now having problems with my feet, ankles, knees and I am in constant pain always! I can't say it is totally from the shoes, but they sure didn't help! I have severe osteoarthritis and have pain with every step I take now! If I had listened to the doctors way back when maybe I wouldn't have all this pain now!

Fashion? Heck no - I dont follow trends or anything like that. I follow my own fashion - whatever I think looks good on me is what I wear. I definitely prefer comfy shoes - I only wear the heels on special occasions and I have never heard anyone complain about my shoe style. I am a line dance instructor - heels would just be a complete mess. My tennis shoes are stylish enough, and cowboy boots are not good for all day wear for my feet. So, I go for comfort. Definately.

I wear high heels, but I always make it a point to bring flip flops.I wear heels inside the office.when it's time to go home I change into flats.also, when I know I will walk for a long time,I use flat shoes.I don't like walking in heels.they're very tiring and can make my knees grow weak.

I generally wear flats and sandals, but sometimes I like wearing heels too. It helps make me feel taller and my legs sexy :) Of course i don't do it very often because my feet will get sore and my legs will tire easily. But wearing them at work at ok for me because we have carpeted floors and its quite easy to walk on them :)

I've never worn high heeled shoes, though i'm quite petite. I can't even abide walking in it for more than two meters. I'm always worried that I'd fall over in front of everybody. I like comfortable footwear: sneakers, flip flops, sandals that sort of thing.

I wear heels in warmer weather and when it's colder, I wear flats like warm boots. I feel really beautiful and a lot taller when I'm wearing heels and I'm doing that for myself. I would never wear them just because my boyfriend or husband wanted me to. My legs rarely hurt a lot, but when they do, I just try to get a ride home quickly. I would never take off my shoes in the street because the streets are really dirty.

I prefer comfortable shoes or flats. I used to own heeled shoes too because they are really elegant but since my boyfriend's height is just the same as mine, I just wear flats so I won't look taller than him hehe.

Comfort wins every time. And you can get attractive shoes that are comfortable at places like Naturalizer and Easy Spirit.
