Your fave band will make a free concert. Will you pay for travel for this?

I am very fond of music and I have a lot of favorite bands and singers. But sometimes, I just prefer to listen to them. I don't think that I will spend money just to see them personally... How about you?

I absolutely love going to gigs and would go to see my favourite band if they were putting on a free concert somewhere I could get to easily.

Meeting my favourite band is not priority especially when the band is so famous and the chances to see their face during the concert is negative zero. However, there are times when I might come for the fun of it ^^

I love going to concerts and in December I am going to drop $700+ on going to see my favorite band in their home city for their annual Christmas weekend... And of that $700+ only $50 is the ticket price.... a ticket which includes a private VIP show on Friday, a meet and greet with the band, the main show on Saturday (usually at the Met), an after party on Saturday and a plethora of other activities for pass holders only. So $50 for all of that, plus $50 compared to the cost of getting there, is practically free!

Hello there, I think I'm okay with paying for Cd's, concert tickets, etc, as long as it's affordable for me. Otherwise I'll just use my money for other more important things. The thing is, if I think what I'm buying is worth it I'll spend my money on it to get it without thinking twice (like if it's going to give me sooo much happiness that I don't mind having to save my money for the next few weeks and cut the budget on less necessary things like junk foods).

well given that its for free and its near my area I'd definitely go! However, spending money just to see them would not be my priority. Ill just be contented with listening to them.:)

I think it would mostly depend on the cost of the trip. I might go if I wasn't too expensive. But also, I would probably do research about whether they even sound good live. Some singers I enjoy, like Taylor Swift for instance, have awesome songs, but whose live performances don't sound very good...
