How do you preserve flowers, especially those given by your love one?

I preserve them by drying them between thick books. After they have completely dried up, I put them in the box or sometimes I use the dried flowers to decorate a card or I just arrange them in an album as a remembrance. I love looking at them and I like their smell too. Being a romantic and emotional person I value all the flowers that are given to me just like the other things that are very important to me.

Hi Mamashika,During my teenage days, everytime i've recieve flowers from my admirers i'd see to it to pick one to be preserve for remembrance. I'd just put it in the middle of my books. He he he,we almost the same in style.Like you, i am sentimental and emotional. Until now at my age i am still doing preserving flowers inside our books.Good luck!

I'd just leave them be. Last year I put them in the fridge to cool but that was stupid because the fridge got full and the flowers were stock. It got in the way. Lol

I usually put the stable of the fresh water in boiling water for a few second and cut a bit of it. This way it stays longer "alive". After that I just put it somewhere to dry.
