is it worth it?

my boyfriend and I have had many debates concerning ikea. He always rants on and on about how he bought a simple bookshelf that had a inch thick manual and a tub full of nails, screws and other little tidbits. however, recently i bought this corner wardrobe piece. yes it had all those little pieces and slightly confusing directions but with my power tools and my mom by my side I got it up. my boyfriend still complains about ikea but i have no complaints so far. the only thing i did not like was that no one who worked there would help me load my four heavy long boxes onto the cart. do you think the furniture at ikea is worth all the hassle it comes with?

We don't have IKEA here in Indonesia but when I went to Singapore, I went to IKEA store and I liked it there. You know, for me, the hassle comes with the cute stuffs is the part of the fun of decorating your house. If you don't want to buy it with hassle, you can just buy it from the designer, but of course it would be so much more expensive than this IKEA stuff.
