Let's face it there are times we are more patient with our friends than our family. It's this sense of knowing that your family is always gonna be there anyway. There are similar situations where you'd pick a fight with your brother about something but if it was a friend you'd let it go. Sometimes I do wonder if I'm slowly taking my family for granted. I'd rather ask my friend to go to a movie with me than ask my younger sister when I know that she would love the movie. What's up with that? Or is it just a phase?

Had this friend once. I treated her greatly. More than I had ever treated my family. And you know what I got in return for the kindness and making her my number one friend? She stole US$100,000.00 from me and ruined my reputation. It was a HUGE mistake. My greatest reward for me is that I still have my family who is now helping me pick-up the pieces. If you have a friend like the one I have, who needs enemies?! It's true when they say that you're best friend is your worst enemy. I'm not saying that all friends are like that. Just be careful. Learned my lesson in a very excruciating way.

Your friend had a lot of nerve. Why would she do that to you? One thing I'm sure about having family though, they can easily forgive us if we're really sincere about our apologies. Sometimes, even when when you're not sincere, they readily forgive you. They are the one sure thing you'll when everyone else won't care.

I'll admit, I am sometimes more patient with my friends than my family. Sometimes though, I think it's because I feel like my family should have a better understanding of me than my friends. But overall, I think I treat them the same...obviously, if there was something I would argue with my brother about, I would argue with my friends about...but probably wouldn't get into a fight since I mostly only see them at school.
