I learned how to bake when I was still in high school and I have mastered some recipes when it comes to chocolate cakes, sponge cake and cookies but and I always wanted to learn how to bake brownies and other pastries. I tried to experiment on them but I never got it right. When I met my husband's sister, she always told me that her mom is really good in baking. How I envied her because her mom taught her how to bake too. At that time, I still didn't have the idea that I will be marrying her brother since we didn't know each other at that time. When I married my husband. I was blessed to have my mother-in-law taught me how to bake all those delicious food. She doesn't know, when she taught me how to cook, she made me realize one of my goals and that is how to bake and cook very well. Thanks to her I can bake all the goodies I want now. And not just that, she going to give me all her recipes and teach me how to make them. God is really good because He uses other people to help you realize your goals. Sometimes it happens through things we dont expect but these things really make us happy.

I started trying to bake when i was in high school, using the recipe from my school..then, i tried some recipes from books, magazines and sometimes from internet. In 2005, i took baking course because i like baking. About cooking, i like cooking as well, but sometimes i don`t feel confident. I started learning how to cook from my aunt and brother-in-law. My brother-in-law used to work at the hotel even though not as a chef, but at least he studied hotel management. He usually cooks European or Chinese dishes, while my aunt cooks Indonesian traditional dishes.
