mountain dew

can someone explain to me the appeal of mountain dew. no matter where i am, i have friends who love the stuff- who crave the stuff. i've only drank it once and I couldn't finish the can. i guess i'm just stuck on my classic drinks like cola and ginger ale. do you like mountain dew?
