Actually, all my ex's were my friends. If ever I am into new relationship I am very open to talk about my past relationships. Its a big deal for me if my partner would give some trust me about it. I got to assure that its nothing more about. Because its past. And I'm not turning back. For me its really okay to be friends again even if you can't be together anymore. Just be sure no feelings involve at all and you both has totally moved on. But in your case, there are some people want peace, don't like messing up with his current relationship just because of his/her ex. Just try to understand whatever she's trying to come up with.
