What was your first gift to your lover??

I think love is all over this world, in fact our earth rotates with love only.
My friend is in love and he asked me to select a good gift to give to her lover, and i said that you have to select a gift for your lover. IS that right?
So i thought of asking this question to others, so tell me if you have lover what was your first gift to her/him.
Who proposed to you first?What was your expression when you got proposed. Did you accept immediately or asked him/her to wait for some time to answer??

I know this is a very tough question for all of us. At first I was too in conflict. But I think just One Rose is the best...........

My first boy friend sent me nothing, he was so mean to me. Somethimes I can not bear his behavior.Finnaly, we broke up. I got some beautiful fashions from my present boy friend as we met at the first time.

A book of poems/lyrics that I wrote. When you can't really afford much it kind of helps to be creative. It all came from the heart and she cherishes that gift. I add to it whenever I think of new ones to add to it. I think the first gift she gave me was a digital delay guitar pedal. Which is an awesome present as well.
