Would you rather die young or really really old?

When I was young I thought I was going to die at the age of sixteen. I tried to die at thirteen, but didn't work. When I lived past sixteen, I tried to die at eighteen, and again didn't work, so I pretty much gave up and live up to now, twenty-one. No more plans of fulfilling a death wish.
Truthfully I'm afraid to reach the age of forty or fifty, or sixty. I don't think I could bear the pain of my bones feeling so brittle when I feel cold, or the feeling that I wouldn't be able to climb the stair case as painless as possible. But oh well. If I'm going to disregard everything else in my life, I'd rather die young, somewhat peacefully and with my body parts in tact.
But who can choose really? These things are out of our hands. But say, if it was up to you would you rather leave this earth young or really old?

whatever destiny is there for us, we should appreciate. that's how i view the matter of living on the face of this earth. it doesn't matter how long or even how short, what matters is that we live the way we should... and enjoy it....

If I had a choice on whether to die young or really really old, I think I'd opt for the latter. I would want to start a family of my own and watch my kids grow. I see myself reading stories to my grandchildren and being well taken cared of by my own children. I'd like to spend more quality time with my loved ones and be there for them when they need me. I would like to fulfill my every dream and be successful in the path that I decide to pursue.. perhaps travel the world before I leave it. And if it's not too much to ask, I would also want to die in my sleep.. painlessly and peacefully. :D

Well if I'd die really old that's also how I'd love to leave this place. Peacefully and painlessly. I guess everybody hopes for the same.

In spite of the TREMENDOUS hardship I have right now, I still want to grow very old and exhaust all means possible of improving my way of life. It is not easy but I'm doing everything that I can to correct all my mistakes and improve what I'm good at right now.

If I choose,I do not want to die so early!
Life is beautiful,I don't want to miss it.Now I am enjoying my life,and I also love my families,my friends,they are concerned with me and brought me hapiness.More importantly, I have not achieved my goal yet,and I have do something for my family, for my friends.Everybody has their own wishes and aims,right? God gave us life,it is so precious,should we not cherish?

i would like to live till the end of my life espically old age is fine.... this life is full of adventures so try to enjoy these things ,don't afraid live ur life fully and enjoy it as much as u can........ be happy be positive....

I will prefer to die old. Its nice to live on earth
which is full of mysteries and difficulties in life.
Not all the days that you are unhappy even though you
have pains suffered inlife.
God always enlightens our minds why we still have life
on earth. He has the key and hold when we will die and
end of our great pains. THese are all trials and test
to where our confidence and trust to carry teh burdens
and difficulties in life as He is also carrying all the
sins of the world. So I am happy if alaways given a chance
to live even out of the pain suffered.
Its nice to see the family circle and relatives enjoying
life too.

never thought of that way but we should always get ourselves a happy moments in every way to our everyday living and except all of what will be happening, don't let others ruin your everything that you appreciated that make you happy, they don't care either and they don't help you anyway.. until that day comes that you will give back the life you rented in GODS Hand Live Happy Every time.

Life so beautiful and god gave us this. For me, i would choose nothing between old or young. I will wait the god to get what he borrow to me. I am thankful that im still in this world to see the beautiful creations from him. Thanks and Happy Lotting.

ohh why did you try to end your life? do you have problem? Don't you know that only God has the right to ends one's life, but anyway i'm sorry for it i don't now your reasons but good you realized. But if God will let me choose...i will prefer to die when my kids are all responsible for themselves.

i would like to die on the younger age because no body nows what will hapen in the future weather my child will keep happy or sad i dont wont to be burden on then so i like to die in the younger age

I have different opinion in this topic, I don't want to die earlier because God has given this life leave and to proove our self. So I want to enjoy the every moment of this life. of course, I also don't want to bear the pain of oldness but you can feet your self in the older age also. I want to die at age of 60-70.

I want to enjoy every moment in my life too! : That's why i try my best to keep my consciousness on the present rather than pitching it off to the years later. Who wouldn't want to die fulfilled, right?

I plan on living until I'm 94. The only reason I wouldn't want to is if I were too ill or in too much pain to enjoy my life.

So sad to see that you wanted to die . It wasn`t a good idea at all . Life has a lot of bad things in it, but it also have a lot of wonderful places, even people, and all that maybe you didn`t thought about .
I would prefere to die old, even if i`ll have some pains, because i want to do something with my life, and i want to let after me something that will help my children remeber me, and apreciate me, because i`ve made something that will help them in life so much .

Hey there girl what do you mean by you wanted to die at the age of sixteen. I hope you did not try to actually kill yourself. Wishing you would die does not work cause like you said it is not in our hands. I have seen some people still strong at the age of 70. All you have to do is take good care of yourself. For me, I would like to live till I am old not really really old but just before the weakness sets in. T care

thanks, uhm well let's say i was young and unreasonable. i mean those where my teen years and if we put life on monochrome, those were my darkest days and those days have already transcended into light. so it's really no biggie anymore. ;)

I would rather die young and leave life a dependent man, rather than be kept alive by pills and machines and leave life reliant on everybody else
Besides, I'm not sure if I would be able to handle the burden that old-age brings with it
