Is Affiliate Marketing can be a good source of income?

I signed up in other forum's website and then I noticed something because most people there are encouraging people to sign up for an affiliate account, in fact they posted their proof of income so many times so I just wonder if that's all true but I think it is because some of them are my friend and they do earn from those affiliate websites. They promoted products of that site and for every purchase and sign up they get a percentage so that was so nice and pretty convincing. Right now I've already signed up to their affiliates and I'm earning quite good. If you wanna join me just pm me.
