What will you do if you get a brief case full of money left alone in a garbage??

Dear friend, Me too hand to police, may be if not it would effect a lot of my mental peace like may be the thought like the money could taken for saving life of a person, marriage, repairs, debt clearing so on.. Anyhow I could sleep well if I could dispose it. It might make me thing myself as a robber the most appropriate one.

It would depend on some additional circumstances. If there were no forms of ID in the briefcase, I believe I would take it home and watch for someone looking for it. I know that I would certainly contact the police right away if I lost a briefcase full of money, so if no one comes looking for it, then it must belong to criminals. If it had ID, I would contact that person right away. Unfortunately, I don't trust the police to take care of it, so I would try to find the owner on my own. If no one came looking for it, I would keep it. I would not spend any until I had tried very hard to find the owner, though.

I also would hand it over, I am not so honest as much as afraid what the real cost would be if I were dishonest. If it isn't mine I don't want it.

in all honesty,if the brief case was only full of money and no documents,then it's obviously dodgy,so i'd take it,but if it had paperwork and stuff in it aswell,then it would be hard earned cash,so i'd hand it in

I'd obviously hand over the money to the police station near to it and ensure dat it reaches the person who had lost it... See its a human tendency to think "why don't we take it ourselves"? its natural for anyone to think so but still ppl shoul'n forget to think as money is important to you, its important to everyone... just imagine what would do when you have lost lakhs of money?? the same is for others... so dis is it...

i think what ever we get till we deserve it ,it wont be good so i might use it to give to any orphanage and some trusts who take care of education for the poor people...

if this ocurs to me i wont hand it over to the police and all . i will keep with me for 1 week if i find someone giving a complaint that they lost their suitcase then i will try to find them and hand it over to them directly because i am not sure that the police will hand over it the right person . if there is no such thing in the paper or the media i will take some money for my use if i am in a need of money since i may think that god has given me and the remaining i would give to some charity that would help the people for the education ... this is what i would do ..
