Evolution and arrogance.

I recently read about a research which claimed arrogance to be a result of evolution. If you think about it, it does seem to make some sense. Evolution allows us to adapt and survive. In this violent modern world an arrogant,bossy attitude works much better than a silent,humble behaviour...except if you are in prison,of course.

Hi arahula, I would think it is the other way round.Arrogance is a very basic human nature and many people become arrogant when they think they have power,wealth,beauty etc;A cultured and highly evolved person will not do so because there are many like himself or herself in this world and definitely many would be far better...A bossy and arrogant attitude would never be appreciated by anyone except may be some weak spineless people ...
