Do you like to use fabric softener in your wash cycle? Does it work? Do you think adding the softener makes your clothes feel softer? Have you ever tested to see if the clothes with softener added, felt softer then the ones which did not have the softener added? Share your laundry tips.

...Hi there saphrina, You like the smell good scent, as do I. My towels come out much softer when I add the fabric softener, it makes a big difference. I notice the rough nap of the towels whenever I forget to put in the fabric softener. I love the nice scent of the clothes as well when fabric softener has been added. It is very pleasing to your sense of smell. Thanks so much for sharing, take good care.

hello, artistry! i love using fabric softeners because it gives a good scent and does improve the softness of the clothes. in addition, if the weather is rainy, it keeps the laundry from having an awful smell. i spin dry my clothes all the time except those that recommends handwashing. i have been doing these for years and the results always satisfy me. and of course, it's much easier to press the clothes. i'm just picky with the scents though. i prefer mild or sweet scents. i don't wanna be labeled a walking air freshener. LOL!

...Hi there Cheiyen, I love it when people make me laugh, "walking air freshener" huh. I think that's funny. I like to smell the nicely scented towels and clothes. I also agee with you that mild is better, too much can be overwhelming and not good to the nostrils "o). My towels are softer when I use the softener, otherwise they dry very rough to the touch, especially with the hard water. Take care and thanks for the laugh.

I like to add some to the rinse cycle, I just recently bought that bounce thing that you stick in the dryer and its suppose to last for up to four months so i have stopped adding fabric softener to the wash. So far i think it does make the clothes softer especially the towels. And the smell great!!

...Hi there momathome, I too love the smell of the fresh scent on clothes, they really smell clean. The smell lasts for a good while, I still use the liquid, maybe I will try the sheets some time. I have a friend who takes care of the property, when he comes over to fix something, he smells so good, I compliment him on his cologne, he says it's his mother's fabric softener. So everybody likes good smelling clothes and towels. Thanks so much for responding, take it easy.

Hi, artistry. I will use this when I will wash clothes. But my husband does not use it. When I use it it did work well for me. And it did make my clothes much softer. The one thing that I noticed was that, it left my clothes and my surroundings scented up. I love the smell of Downey. It smells really good.

...Hi cream97, Sometimes I guess men msy think it's a feminine thing to want your clothes to have a scent. I don't know. That is interesting. I do notice as well, because my towels are stacked in the bathroom, that it does make it smell good after you have newly washed towels. They are softer, as I said before, if I forget to add the softener, the towels are rougher to the touch. Downey has a delicious smell. Thanks and take it easy.
