Hello people! I am a 16 year old boy and I don't know how I will receive my payment because I need bank account or credit card number to verify my paypal account. I don't know what to do? Can any one help me out of this problem?

Yes,you need a credit card in order to get verified. If you don't have a credit card then you can apply for a debit card. What does verified mean? Being a verified member of Paypal increases your limit in transferring and withdrawing money. If unverified, you CAN NOT WITHDRAW your money from Paypal. That's why you need to get verified. It is not necessary to add a bank account if you have a credit or a debit card. You can transfer your funds from there. If you don't have your own debit or credit card, you may borrow your Mum's or parents' to use for Paypal. However, you'll be charge for using a different card holder other than your own name. I hope this will be of help. Happy mylotting and welcome aboard.:-)

I'm not sure about in any other countries than the USA- but I know here it is not true that you cannot withdraw your funds from paypal without being verified.....because I do it all the time ;)

you don't need to have verified paypal id for receiving any payment , it is needed when you want to buy something . For verification of your paypal id you need a bank account or a credit card or a debit card. When verifying with bank account you need to give your account number and your bank code which can be easily found on cheque book.

Hi rahulchopzy, I am not sure about the age (16) but I do not have my bank account verified in my paypal and I still recieve payment. When requesting your payment instead of requesting a transfer to your bank account, request that paypal send you a paper check in the mail- thats how I get paid ;)

Talk to your parents and have them open a paypal account that you can send money to. My daughter has a paypal account because I got her a bank account in her name, now she makes quite a bit of pocket money after school that go through paypal because she is saving for a car. So talk to your parents and let them help you get your own savings account, then sign up for your paypal and deposit the money to your account. My daughter is 17 and she does.
