Some people don't do this, but if you wear open toed shoes your going to have to take care of your feet so they can look nice right. You always have to give your feet manicures and make sure that they are in tip top shape. I have a phobia against feet, but I still do manage to take care of my feet. Who else takes care of their feet??? Some people don't actually take care of their feet.

First off. I am a male. So i think I will be excluded from the open toe scenario but I do wear sandals and slippers. Of late, I try to take care of my feet by not sitting down whenever I get the chance. Some employers frown upon non office employees who sit down at work outside of their lunch break. I used to work for an engineering firm inspecting construction sites. I would carry a lounge/beach chair to sit down. And my excuse for sitting in it was to make calculations and approve or disapprove of the contractor's work. Your feet are bigger at the end of the day than in the beginning. It is also good to put your feet up whenever you can in order relax the swelling. I learned it is not a great idea to cross your legs, or rest your ankle on your other knee. As much as you we all like to, it is a better idea not to cross our legs while laying down or sleeping. Putting them in a hot or and ice-cold bath helps too.

It's still very good of you to take care of your feet. I never knew that it was not a good idea to cross my legs because that's mostly what I do. Ouch I know my feet do swell up and it hurts by the end of the day. I'm going to do that though and put my feet in some cold or hot water which ever one feels nicer.

Well, I think it's OK to cross your legs in some situations over others especially if you are a lady.

No, my poor feet get very little attention. I have so much more above them that I'm usually in a hurry, so I don't get down that far very often. I mean I keep my nails clipped and filed, and I use alot of lotion on them and they get the sea salt from Israel, but that's about it.
