I want to take my friends to join in paypal, do we can earn from there if we bring a referral? how does it work?

You can earn from your referrals if they upgrade. You can earn 5% in all their transactions.

According to Paylal's referral page: You earn .5% of the merchant's revenue, excluding all ebay earnings, up to $1000. This is only valid for 12 months.
