Mylot Alerts, why dont they open?

I left mylot on for almost 5 minutes this morning after Mylot informed me that there was a new Alert. At the end of it, I still couldnt see anything loaded! I closed mylot and opened it again. But the altert was no longer there. This is not the first time it has happened to me. But somehow it has always slipped my mind. I hope the real and virtual admins can advise me whether it is something to do with my system, or the mylot. I might add that a few months ago I did receive Alert about my tags (which I continue to be bad at because I completely forget the words that I use). I wish we could check our Alerts somewhere. :( Is there a way to check alerts later?

Hi Diana, thanks. Trust you to come to my rescue, always. :) But seriously, we do need some place where we can check the alerts. The next person has also voiced this. So I am not alone. :) How do we go about asking Alice for this feature? :)

Yes I have also noticed in my very short days in this site that when I have some puzzle and in trouble to get anything this user come to resolve the issue. i think like the admin user GoAskAlice, mysdianait is guide user of mylot. I think mysdianait plays the role of guide to the user of this site. I am thank full to this particular member. Hope that we will get more help from this user. Thanks mysdianait many many thanks . You are a noble heart person.

I think this problem was encountered bt others and mentioned on one of the discussions started by Alice. I suggest you mention it again if you respond on the latest discussion (though maybe it is one of the many things that will be fixed when the upgrade takes place). I am happy to help whenever I can as I dislike seeing other Lotters in difficulty. If I am on here and can help I will

Why do'nt you point this out to Alice? In this month's mylot digest, the alert is given as discussion from Goaskalice. Check from there. This is the one that was in the Alert message. Just a few days away! We're only days away from releasing the all new myLot! We took a long, hard look at what we could improve, and after spending some serious time creating, developing and testing, we're that much closer to making it happen. The alert message will disappeared once we opened it or left mylot. I am sorry to hear that you are having problems like that. Anyway, I can share you this new alert message that I received just now. We're only days away from releasing the all new myLot! Thank you lovelyn_medrano. :) You actually kept the copy of alert! Wow! Never occurred to me that another person could need it. :) Well, MysD did share it with me so I realised what could be the contents of the New Alert. Thankfully, it didnt remind me of my tags.

Yes I feel like you. I have receive only one alert and come to know that that is an alert of admin discussion. I know nothing about all those. And close that. later from a respond of an user I came to know that. But the alert message is not available then. So in ignorance and mismanagement we may miss those. It is a very good idea to check those alert message later.

As Diana has mentioned above, Admin seems to be aware of this issue. In any event, everytime we acorss discussion on Alerts, we should participate. May be we will find solutions, if not we can at least mention our experiences.
