I will just share my thoughts thru music. When I am in a silent mode I listen to the sounds of nature, meditation, indie, soul music, chill out. It soothes deep within my soul, I feel I was floating in the air, I feel so relax. But my outdoor activities, I love listening to reggae, hardcore, sometimes rap music.

Hi Ella, I like soul, R&B, a little bit of fast/danceable music, but I don't like rap and hardcore. Whenever I'm doing something, if the TV is not switched on I make sure I am listening to music on the radio or other medium.

Hello DORYVIEN! Each of us has its own choice of music and interpretation. When you appreciate an art it reflects on the personality and on how you deliver your emotions and expression in life.

Hi Ellayuri, Welcome to Mylot. If i want a relax mood with my kids i love listening to mellow and instrumental music. when i feel like being sentimental and so in love i will listen to slow rock love songs and those pop love songs. but right now i enjoy listening to reggae music. this appreciation of mine in this kind of music started when i stayed in the US and most of my co-workers love listening to it.

I like emo/rock/alternative. The most important thing for me is having music with lyrics that I really like. It's all easy to fall asleep to, and I can usually really relate to the messages of the songs.

I am a music lover of various genres. My main favorite is Japanese pop. I also like Spanish and Chinese songs. Honestly, I do not understand the songs but only a few words. I guess music really is a universal language. My favorite would be Jazz. I think because the cool music would calm my nerves. My favorite activity once was to sleep in the afternoon with the jazz radio station on. I would wake up an hour or two later feeling very calm and peaceful. I haven't found yet as good a mood/feeling as that. On a daily basis, my music could either be pop, rock, ballad, rap, reggae, latin, broadway, and so on. The music I listen to would usually reflect my mood.

Sometimes it's nice to listen to oldies if you're on a sentimental mood and reminiscing the past. Well rap and reggae still best for people who's always on the go.
