I do not really understand how people make good money at it?
I heard that there are people who scam others
How do I know what's reliable and what is not
Do I have to pay duty if I buy over $ 200?

Im afraid in selling and buying on ebay. I'm afraid on to be scammed again. It is better to sell it personally than virtually. Im a victim of that scam. It wasted my $400.

I've sold some of my old books on ebay once,didn't make much but still made something.
Guess people make money on ebay by going to yard sales and stuff and look for something that they think might sell eg.books,antique china ect...Then they sell on ebay at what 200% or something!
People who buy on ebay recommend that you look at Seller ratings before placing a bid. Whether you have to pay duty or not depends on your country's custom laws so look it up!
