News: Woman killed by stalker

I was watching the news when I saw this story and it is heartbreaking. A 23 year old woman was being stalked by an older man. When she and her husband sought a restraining order for the guy, the judge ruled that they should come back after he reviews their request. A couple of days (I think) before they were sceduled to go back to the courtroon, the woman was attacked and killed outside of her work by the stalker.

Wow, that's why things so serious like that should be taken into better consideration. If the judge would have just approved the order maybe the woman would still be alive. I feel very sorry for her and her husband. The idea of a stalker is very scary. My mom has had a few and it is a horrible thing. I feel bad for anyone who as to put up with something like that.

It was, but she's better now. She's smarter about where she meets people and who she hangs around with. My mom is like a teenager usually so she doesn't use her head like she should.

I wonder how the judge is feeling at this time. I tell you these judges today are really so bias about everything and don't seem to care when a person feels in danger or violated in some way. If he had only taken care of it right then and there this woman would still be alive. I hope they get him and he is locked up for life.

After hearing about things like that, I wonder if judges' decisions should be reviewed or appraised. Thank you for your response.

Killing seems to come very easy for some people these days, it is very sad when taking someones life seems just an every day thing, I think a lot of people are just not being taught what life really is, how dare people take it upon them-selves to take someone elses life....

I can never understand how some can easily take someone's life. Especially like that. It is a sad thing. Thank you for your response

Only in Florida would a judge rule he needed to speak to the man, despite the tons of threatening emails the man sent her, before he would give the order of protection. This man probably still would have gotten to her, but we will never know now. What a backwards law they enforced here.

I saw this on the news too. I feel horrible for her husband. They had just had lunch together and had parted ways to head back to work. They played him on the other end of the phone saying something like 'Come on baby keep breathing' and 'We had a restraining order against this guy!' I can't remember the exact words because it was a couple of days ago that I saw the story. But they were just married a few months ago I believe. Terribly sad for him and for her family.
