Yes, I have been to the pyramids 3 times in Eygpt. It is very interesting. One thing I really enjoyed was riding a camel in the dessert along the pyramids in the sand. That was really quite an experience. I did not go into the pyramids, by my husband and some friends did. They said that the stinch was terrible as you walked down the steps, I guess it was like a ramp with slats on it and it was very uncomfortable because you had to bend over the whole way. There was no circulation of air in the tunnel going down into the pyramid nor while coming up and out, so it was quite an experience. Once they got down into the main room of the pyramid they said there really wasn't a whole lot to see. So if you have clustraophobia, this is definitely not the place to go. It is extremely interesting to see how they actually built these pyramids years and years ago. The history is very interesting. There is a museum near the pyramids shaped like a huge boat that is very interesting and worth the visit. Egypt has little color, it is very dusty, dirty, and to live there, would be depressing. It was nice visiting, but if you have gone once, that should be sufficient.

..that's indeed interesting.. then if I have the chance to go there, I would rather go to the museum rather than go inside the pyramid.. although it will still be a different experience going inside but the fact that there wasn't any worth viewing there, then it won't be worthwhile.. I have a sister there but she didn't tell me the details.. she just told me that the pyramid was very nice..
