Yes, it is. Was watching a Korean show wherein they featured a woman who had discovered that she has lung cancer. It was found out that she was surrounded by smokers at home and the workplace. Since she is not a smoker, she's not immune to the fumes and since she was inhaling day-in and out, cancer cells accumulated in her lungs. It was sad because the whole family was crying. They are now battling it. The husband, who is a chain-smoker, immediately stopped smoking due to his love for her and her workplace. which is their own restaurant, became a smoke-fee zone. She is now winning the cancer-fight.

Of course it is harmful, it has been proven time and time again that passive smoking or "second-hand" smoke can lead to the same health problems that an actual smoker may develop I always try to avoid standing too near somebody smoking because I hate that nasty smell that clings to my nostrils. Besides, why should I risk my health for somebody else's addiction?

Yes it is. I had ear trouble as a child because of dads smoking. My ears produced too much wax trying to compensate for the pollution in the air. My sister had asthma for the same reason. Our clothes and hair always smelled of smoking,we couldn't escape it. we were very unhealthy really ,even my brother had sore eyes.

smoking or inhaling smoke in any form is not good for your health. It has been said that breathing in second hand smoke contains twice as many chemicals. Many people who have never smoked a day in their life end up with lung cancer. Now at the same time, these days they say pretty much anything can give you cancer, too much sun exposure, dying your hair too much, and even in some places they say breathing in the air alone can take quite a few years off of your life. So really is it even healthy to live in this world these days. I think instead of focusing on one thing that can cause cancer lets look at the bigger picture. Our world is polluted and is decresing our life span. I think going green is a great adea and anything i can do to help not pollute the environment i do.
