What is the best way to express love?

I dont express my love through material things. I show them my patience, understanding and show of support - that is through action. Sometimes, expression through words are great but action speaks louder than words and i think it works.

Hey careguarden! I think that the best way my boyfriend could express his love to me would be to be completely honest with me! Sometimes he keeps things inside and won't tell me his true feelings and that drives me crazy and causes problems in our relationship! We live togethere and are supposed to have a "partnership" which means we need to talk about things and when he is upset he closes up himself to me and gets angry and just won't talk to me which makes the problems get worse! We were on the verge of splitting up and him moving out and I was very upset because I really love him! We are trying to work things out, at least I think so. But, I'm not sure I believe him anymore because sometimes he lies just to keep the peace and I'm afraid he might be doing this until he is ready to walk out the door so I have to be on my guard and that is a sad thing!

Hmmm I am not an expensive partner I dont like jewelries, shoes , clothes etc. For a way to express love is spending quality time with your love one, your husband or your boyfriend. When you say quality time that is alredy inclusive of Love Care and Attention. I can spend quality time and express my love thru going together on travel. or vacation. I also want to spend my true love with personalize gifts that I made. I love to collate, make stuff and compile pictures. and one thing best way to express you love is by being faithful and loyal to your partner. Cheers :) =d09:)

Hi Care, First you have to be yourself. let your love one see your trueself...no pretentions and fake personalities. always let your loved one feel they are important for doing little things like a goodnight and good morning kiss. hold hands while sleeping, prepare towel and other toiletries for him, pampered him with a loving massage after a long day of work, prepare him his favorite food, give him a call or text him how he is and if he eat already. while having dinner look at him and give him a wink or a naughty look...make a note and post it on the ref telling him that you have something for him inside his bag for snacks...simple but will surely tickles ones heart!
